Manora Village Hua Hin Rental Terms & Conditions
All bookings are made with Manora Company Limited acting as agents on behalf of the owners of the properties featured in the Manora Village website. By submitting an enquiry form it shall be taken as confirmation of acceptance of the following conditions.
2. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
Provisional Confirmation of Availability and Rates:
Upon receipt of a request for availability, the applicable Villa rates and the amount of deposit required will be confirmed. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Villa rental rates quoted are in Thai Baht. Rates quoted allow for maximum occupancy of the villa as shown on the web site. Only those persons stipulated on the booking form may reside at the property as guests. Please notify us as soon as possible of any changes.
All rental rates are to be paid in Thai Baht, however, in case of payment made locally, all charges are made in Thai Baht converted at the rate of exchange applied by Bank of Thailand on the day of the debit.
An initial deposit of 50% of the total rental fee must be received by Manora Company Limited before a confirmation can be issued. No confirmation will be issued between you and Manora Company Limited until funds have been received and accepted by Manora Company Limited. If funds are not received within 10 banking days the reservation shall be deemed to have been cancelled.
Final payment of the remaining balance must be paid to Manora Company Limited upon arrival unless otherwise specified. Travelers cheques, credit card withdrawals or cash exchange transactions can easily be accomplished at any Currency Exchange Counter at Bangkok Airport when you arrive (they have the most favourable exchange rates). Failure to make the final payment on this basis will make reservation subject to automatic cancellation. If the booking is made within 30 days of the arrival date, 100% of the cost of the Villa rental shall be due at the time of booking.
4. SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit (depending on the length of stay) may be payable to Manora Company Limited with the payment of the balance. This is to cover the cost of any damage or breakages during the rental period of the Villa or their contents. It may also be used to cover the cost and other services. This amount will be returned to you at the time of departure, less any such costs.
5. CANCELLATION OF VILLA RESERVATION
After the deposit payment, if the Guest should Cancel before the commencement date, or move from the premises prior to the expiration of this time period, he shall be liable to lose the deposit. The above cancellation charges also apply if Manora Company Limited cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance.
6. CHANGE OF BOOKING
A 2,000 Baht administration fee may be charged by Manora Company Limited for any change of booking after a confirmation has been issued. Acceptance of any change is subject to approval by the villa’s owner.
7. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES
Guests should assume the Check-in time is after 8:00 am, and Check-out time is prior to 5:00 pm, unless otherwise agreed. You should inform of your flight arrival/departure times in order to arrange the airport transfer if required.
8. NOT INCLUDED / ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Landline telephones are not installed in the Villas, local and international calls can be made at the Manora Village Hua Hin Office. Linen and towels are included in all Villas. If you require changes there will be extra charges. Laundry facilities at the management office will be charged on a per item basis.
The cost of electricity, cleaning, local taxes, and so on are not included in the rental rates, unless otherwise specified. All villas offered by Manora Company Limited are fully equipped by the owners with linen, crockery, utensils, Etc. The guest agrees to pay before departure 5 baht per Kw for electricity; the electric meter will be read on the Check-in and Check-out times. On your arrival the villa will have been cleaned and supplied with a fresh set of laundry, the guest agrees to pay before departure a final cleaning charge and a laundry charge, charged on a per item basis (cost depending on the type of villa).
9. BREAKAGES & CLEANLINESS
The Villa is made available for letting on the understanding that the property will be left tidy at the time of checkout and all personal waste must be removed from the property. It is not our policy to take any security deposit (for short term rentals) however the Guest(s) will be held responsible for any damage or breakages to the property, caused by the Guest(s) and in the event of such occurrence, the incident must be reported to the villa owner’s representative (Manora Company) immediately and appropriate compensation made. Guest(s) are not permitted to move any furniture or equipment without prior written consent from ourselves or the villa owner. In the event of such permission being granted, it is the Guest(s) responsibility to return the same to its original position before checkout. Under no circumstances must any property for use inside the property, be moved outside. A member of Manora Company’s staff will inspect the premises before your departure for any damages or missing items.
10. CONDUCT & BEHAVIOUR
The person paying the deposit amount for the villa rental is responsible for the correct and appropriate behaviour of the guests staying at the Villa(s). Should any member of the party not behave in such a manner, the villas owner or complaint representative may at their absolute discretion ask the offending guest or guests to vacate the Villa forthwith. In respect of the villas owners and primarily for security reasons, it is absolutely prohibited for the guests to bring a male or female prostitute within the compound of the villa.
11: SWIMMING POOL REGULATIONS
1. Pool hours: Monday to Sunday 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
2. Pool cleaning service daily from 8.00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
3. Proper swim wear is required
4. Food and beverages are not allowed in the pool
5. Smoking is not permitted in the pool
6. Please take always a shower before entering the pool
7. Take off shoes or slippers before entering the pool
8. No screaming, running, rough play in and around the pool
9. It is not allowed to jump from the Jacuzzi into the Pool
10. No spitting, spouting water or blowing nose in the pool
11. Children must be supervised by parents or guardians all time
12. Guards have the right to prevent individuals from entering the pool
13. Individuals breaking the pool regulations are subject to possible forfeiture of swimming privileges.
12. REGISTERED GUESTS
The number of people staying at the property must not exceed the maximum capacity indicated by you in the booking form, unless specifically authorized. Should the owner or Manora Company Limited representative find that the number of people staying at the property exceeds that on the booking form, additional guests will be subject to a per person, per day surcharge and may be asked to vacate.
Manora Company Limited regrets No animals of any kind shall be kept on or about the premises, for any amount of time in all of the villas.
Smoking is not allowed inside any of the villas at any time.
Some of the villas are either equipped with a safe in one of the rooms or a safe is available at the management office. Any valuables left at the property are at one’s own risk. Nor the villas owners/ Manora Company Limited nor their staff is responsible for their loss or damage.
16. DUE CARE OF THE FACILITIES
As part of this agreement and as all villas are privately owned, Guests are required to take due care when residing at the villas and especially small children. Handling of furniture, crockery and other artefact shall be done with the maximum care. Guests are reminded not to enter the Villas wet as the floors can be slippery. Damage or injury arising shall not be the responsibility of Manora Company Limited or the villas owners in any way whatsoever.
17. ALTERATION AND CANCELLATION BY MANORA COMPANY LIMITED
Though it is unlikely that Manora Company Limited or the villas owners will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements, it does occasionally happen, and we will advise you at the earliest possible date.
If the property is damaged or rendered unusable or for any reason beyond our control or due to unexpected circumstances and we are unable to provide you with the Villa booked, Manora Company Limited shall reserve the right to cancel the reservation. However, Manora Company Limited will endeavour to locate an alternative property for the period required. If this is not possible, or you do not wish to be transferred, Manora Company Limited will cancel the booking and refund you in full, less any processing fees charged by our bank. Manora Company Limited shall not be liable for any further obligations or claims by the client.
It is advised that the entire party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including local treatment, evacuation and repatriation coverage). As deposits and rental payments are not be refundable after a reservation has been confirmed, you should consider an option of this travel insurance to cover the loss of money paid to Manora Company Limited in case of cancellation of your journey.
Manora Company Limited and the villas owners are not responsible and are held harmless by you and your party against any and all claims including any accidents related to the use of the Villa facilities and services. Manora Company Limited and the villas owners shall not be responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events outside Manora Company Limited’s control such as civil disturbances, fires, floods, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of Government etc. By acceptance of this contract it is assumed by Manora Company Limited and the villas owners that this requirement has and will be complied with in full.
19. LIABILITY RELEASE
Manora Company Limited acts only as agent for the villa owners.
Under no circumstances shall Manora Company Limited and the owners be responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim or injury either directly or indirectly, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, however caused or incurred, whether arising in contract or otherwise in law or equity as a result of rendering of the services or accommodation as described or substituted, or by reason of military action, revolution or acts of God, or by any agents, employees, subcontractors, servants or third parties whatsoever supplying any of the services.
All Villas have been selected as being to the same overall standard in terms of services, management and minimum required amenities and facilities and their maintenance as well as their quality and finish. The differences between each villa are in style, decor location and specific facilities and services.
Each property description provided by Manora Company Limited on the website and elsewhere is made in good faith and provides the accurate information without any alterations, as provided by the villas owners. We highly recommend you to read them carefully. Manora Company Limited will use our best endeavours to arrange for any such problems to be solved quickly. Any complaints must be notified to Manora Company Limited within 24 hours of the occurrence giving rise to the complaint.
