Manora Company Limited was established in 1998. We are Hua Hin property developers, real estate agents, a consultancy and property management agency. Our office is based in Khao Tao, Hua Hin district, Thailand.

The Manora team is here to assist and complete the entire transaction for you. From finding your Hua Hin property for sale and rent to the signing of the contract; we take care of all the legalities for you. Our managers and personnel speak English, German, French, Italian and Thai.

Currently, Manora Village Hua Hin has around 45 full-time employees. consisting of management, office staff, restaurant, gardeners, drivers, building inspectors and security guards who keep our Manora Villages running smoothly, on a day-to-day basis.

20 Years of successful business in Hua Hin property market!

This year marks a significant milestone for the Manora Company Limited, which was first set up in 1998. Fast forward twenty years and we now have over 45 team members based in our Hua Hin developments.

To mark this milestone, we are delighted to launch a special 20th anniversary newsletter to share with you our journey.

Lastly, from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank all of you for your support, and for being with Manora every step of the way. We hope that we have provided a standard of service to you, that we pride ourselves on.

Humble Beginnings

Upon visiting Thailand multiple times and meeting the love of his life Phitsamai, Walter developed a dream of one day moving to this beautiful country and starting his own business. In addition, after 7 years of hard work and saving in Switzerland, both Walter and Phitsamai decided to take the risk, sell all their belongings and permanently move to Thailand.

Arriving with only two luggage and a little bit of money, there was no time to waste. In other words, they took their first entrepreneurial steps and got involved with restaurant business. However, a year later, the restaurant business turned out to be a failure. Therefore, it was time to take a different approach, which led to a decision to get involved in real estate.

 

Manora Company Limited

On July 22nd, 1998, Manora Company Limited was officially registered and opened for business with only four employees. After that, Thailand’s economy was going through some rough times due to the Asian crisis. In conclusion, property market got flooded with various properties for sale, which seemed like a great opportunity to get involved in real estate business.

However, there weren’t many buyers looking to invest or retire in Hua Hin. Having many properties available for sale, but no interested buyers, put Manora in a quite challenging situation with uncertain future. Luckily, the news about the beauty of Hua Hin spread throughout Europe during their first year in business.

Then, more and more people started to visit Hua Hin for both holiday and investment purposes. With lots of potential clients looking for a house or a condo, Manora grabbed the opportunity to capitalize on the market. To put it differently, Manora became one of the most popular real estate agencies in Hua Hin.

How real estate agent became a property developer?

The Manora decided to invest in Hua Hin property market themselves, upon building the well-established reputation. Firstly, they started to buy and renovate old townhouses which were very popular and in demand at the time. Furthermore, this turned out to be a great business move. The people started to notice the quality of Manora’s work and requesting them to start building detached, single standing houses. Correspondingly, Walter and Phitsamai decided to buy small plots of land to build the villas and help foreign people to settle in Thailand.

In the light of having success with single standing houses, the company soon became a co-developer of two projects with 29 villas, on Soi 116. Upon completing and selling all the units in the projects, it was time for the next step. Soon-after the Swedish investors contacted Manora, with an idea to build properties in Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Manora was responsible for the development, house construction and legal services, while Swedish team would be in charge of selling. With high demand from Swedish retirees, this was yet another extremely successful project.

Baan Manora & Manora Village Hua Hin

After a few years, the project with Swedish investors was completed and it was time for the next business adventure. With this in mind, Walter and Phitsamai decided to move back to Hua Hin and start their own development in Khao Tao area. Initially, they started with a small project called Baan Manora. The development consisted of five very large, two-story villas with private swimming pools and spacious land plots.

Being the only developer in Khao Tao, the villas sold out quickly due to the high demand. This influenced Manora to start a larger development in the same area, Manora Village I. The idea behind Manora Village Hua Hin is to build a safe and secure community, offering Swiss quality management.

Manora Village I

Manora Village I is an outstanding bouquet of 50 elegant and brilliantly conceived villa properties with stunning design. Each property is built to a high specification with top quality materials. Villas were created to fit the demands of a modern holiday home. A variety of layouts were designed to cater for a wide range of lifestyles in this wonderful location.

The construction of Manora Village I was officially launched on the 1st April 2006 and completed within 24 months! All of the 50 Villas sold quite fast and have been completed within the contracted time scale.

Manora Village II

Following the success of the first project, in 2009 Manora bought an additional plot of land. Located next to the first development, Manora Village II consists of 22 luxury Villas. Each villa is set in an open plan complex surrounded by a perimeter wall and security entrance. They are designed with lots of windows and glass doors to optimize this idyllic setting in a natural environment.

Villas are arranged with access to a landscaped tropical garden area incorporating a communal swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Village II is an ideal integration of detached houses with each plot sub-divided using plants, to create an open, park-like setting.

Manora Village III

Manora Village III is the latest and most exclusive villa development, which focuses on excellence of design and construction of an ideally located community of 27 luxury villas. The construction started in late 2015 and finished within 24 months.

All the villas are designed with a blend of European quality, and contemporary Asian influence which includes a common swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a pool side fitness room. All set in a huge landscaped grounds that guarantee both privacy and unrivaled tranquility.

What’s Next?

Since there are only a few villas for sale in Manora Village developments, it is time for a new adventure. Since January 2018 Manora Co. Ltd., re-opened the Manora Property Hua Hin real estate agency, and assembled a team of devoted and talented real estate agents. More over, the Manora agents strives to provide smooth, efficient, and stress-free transactions, whether you are interested in purchasing, selling, renting, or leasing of your desired property in Hua Hin and surrounding areas.
